Hi everyone!
Happy Wednesday!
Here is my first experience with acrylic powder, and I absolutely loved it!
I made a very simple flower, so it easier to reproduce!

I suck at voiceovers … i seriously did this a million times and it got to the point where i was like “aww, eff it.” lol .. so i hope it’s not that bad for you guys and you can still follow what i’m doing! lol ..

It took me about 20-30 mins to do my entire nails, i just cut it down for the sake of the tutorial .. we all know my videos are stupid long, so i’m tryna work on that, hahaha.

The kit itself also cost me about $13 n some change. I’ve only spotted this kit at select stores; most Walgreens have it and so does CVS, but i’ve never seen it at Walmart, Target or Rite Aid. The most expensive i’ve seen it was about $16.

What I Used:
Kiss “Lightning Speed” Acrylic Nails kit (Walgreens)
Beauty Secrets Pure Acetone (Sally’s)
Cotton Rounds (Target?)
Trim electric nail file (optional!)

Did you know?
The name “ladybird” originated in Britain where the insects became known as “Our Lady’s bird” or the “Lady beetle”. Mary (Our Lady) was often depicted wearing a red cloak in early paintings and the spots of the seven spot ladybird (the most common in Europe) were said to symbolise her seven joys and seven sorrows. Common names in other European languages have the same association (the German name Marienkäfer translates to “Marybeetle” or, literally, Mary-chafer). In the United States the name was adapted to “ladybug”.
For some reason, i think i prefer the name of ladybird…
